On March 27th 2009 Aurora hosted our thank you party at Hale Makua. This was our third attempt to schedule the party that was to honor the donors and recipients. The first two parties were cancelled due to scheduling conflicts and illness. At the party scrapbooks and life histories were presented to Mr. Doll and Mr. Bellini. Mrs. Wedin and Mr. Yamanoha were ill that day and could not attend. 

The honorees in attendance were Michael Nason of Royal Hawaiian Movers and President of Rotary Club of Maui, Harlan Hughes, also of Rotary Club of Maui and Kara Fusato representing Kaiser Permanente. They were instrumental in achieving the most difficult wish, a Jazzy 600XL electric scooter for Mr. John Bellini. Also in attendance was John Kerr of Windward Construction, whose company donated the Bose radio with headphones to Mr. Gordon Doll.

The donors and recipients were presented with lei and gifts.  Teresa Lopes of Hale Makua was presented with an appreciation plaque and gift from the troop. We are happy to present to you pictures from the party!
